Executive Assistant To The Head Of Computational Sciences
CurrentAs an Executive Assistant in the Computational Science Department (CSD) at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), I provide critical support to the Head of Computational Sciences and contribute to the department’s growth and research objectives. My role includes managing a complex calendar, coordinating high-level meetings, and overseeing departmental travel and reimbursements for the department head. I also handle communication on behalf of the department head, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of research programs and strategic information.In addition to these responsibilities, I support departmental operations by managing procurement, tracking key projects, and assisting with staff onboarding and relocations. I also coordinate the department’s weekly seminar series and facilitate various external and institutional events. As the CSD training coordinator and records management lead, I streamline administrative processes and ensure compliance with federal and university policies.Through this role, I leverage my organizational and multitasking skills to help drive the CSD’s research goals and strategic priorities, while collaborating across teams to ensure seamless operations and a positive impact on PPPL’s mission of advancing fusion energy and other national science initiatives.
