I’m married to Tamara Butts and a parent to 3 amazing gamechangers: Zion: He’s the oldest. Graduated with a Communications Degree from UTA and will soon be a licensed realtor in Dallas/Fort Worth. Zion previously ran track at the University of Houston and UTA. Torin: He’s all about ⚾️ and his books. Torin is in his senior year and soon he will be off to school to continue his education while playing baseball at Eastern Arizona University. Sariyah: My only girl, the baby girl - now young woman who’s finishing up her sophomore year. She’s all about sports broadcasting, cheerleading, and boys. If I need to know someone’s back story, I can go to either google or Sariyah. I’m blessed to watch her cheer for the best school in Texas - Duncanville High School. My wife Tamara: Multi-faceted Winning Woman who keeps us all together. Tamara is an Instructional Coach for Arlington ISD. She is also the author of The Shed - a psychological thriller. Currently, she runs her own writing company called She Writes where she blogs monthly and assists aspiring writers. She is working on her next book which will be out in the fall of 2023.
