Epic is a software company in health information management. As a core developer of Hospital Billing and Heath Information Management team, my main job was to develop tools to improve the work efficiency in hospital revenue cycle.My responsible area was coding and abstracting, a key step to determine how much hospital should charge to patient/insurance company. I improved the tools by organizing the data entered by other departments, including ADT, ED, Billing, Claim, and presenting these information in an organized way.
