Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC) is an entity of A*STAR.As the Operations Director / Director Corporate Services (DCS), running centre (over 14,000 sqm of estate space in CT2A) in ARTC, manages and responsible for the Financial Performance Management & Reporting, Purchasing, IT, HS&E, Facilities, Workshops, Administration, Secretarial Service, front desk, Staff Training, and HR Operations functions (2018 & 2019). Creating a digital, sustainable and agile workplace for the staff. Chairing the taskforce to outfit the new CT2B building (over 6,000 sqm of estate space) and relocate the staff and equipment from NTU VB to CT2B. Participated and contributed to many A*STAR IT initiatives and transformation taskforces since 2017. Currently also support SIMTech in their Corporate Services or Operations.

Managed a few teams of more than 20 (direct and indirect) senior technical resources, leads and manager supporting the Salesforce Infrastructure design, build, automation and operations level 2 and 3 supports in a 24x7 Environment globally. The team comprises of Network, Systems, SAN/Storage, Database and Application Releases Engineers located in Singapore Office.The Singapore team has been leading the Infrastructure build and operations changes for Salesforce since 2013. We have also contributed in the automation and process improvement. The number of SuperPods and Pods (Instances) we built in the past 2.5 years has exceeded what the company had built before. Member of the senior management team, managed 3 Departments (IT, EI and DMS) of a fairly large team of close to 14 engineers and project leads or managers, aligned the departments with the company’s overall business and growth goals.The Enterprise Integration (EI) covered the Security, Network and System projects delivery for customers. This includes the pre-sales and post-sales activities.The IT covered the internal infrastructure and Call Centre, supporting the company of 800+ users at one point.Key Achievement : Programme managed the CAAS High Speed Network and Application Migration and Implementation Projects (Changi Airport Terminal 1 and 2). It covered the Novell to Windows, ATM/Token Ring to Ethernet, 16 new Servers, IBM SAN Storage, 10 Firewalls, 2 VPNs, 7 IPS/IDS, 80+ layer 3 and layer 2 switches, 1400+ clients, migration of the existing servers (Windows, Unix and Linux) and firewalls (Nokia, CheckPoint and WatchGuard). I was able to complete the project as their Technical and Program Manager in a short span of 8 months ahead of schedule, which was worth about 2.3 millions.
