I am part of the landing gear design team, primarily working on the Improved Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft. Key tasks include design and analysis of landing gear components while keeping factors such as strength, weight and clearances in mind; organizing tests to ensure components and assemblies meet design requirements; external force and dimensional analysis to ensure gear can handle dynamic movement while in taxi, takeoff and/or landing; working with out side suppliers for testing and design collaboration.

Laguna Properties LLC is a real estate investment company. Laguna Properties focuses on purchasing distressed properties in need of rehab, updating the properties, and holding the properties as rental units. Current market is St. Louis, Missouri.Accomplishments:- Have purchased 12 investment properties totaling $1.5M in value- Manage a portfolio of 6 rental investment properties consisting of 5 SFRs and 1 Quad- Have managed 4 projects targeted as flips, including the analysis, procurement, financing, project management, and dispositioning- Developed a system for analyzing properties and dispositioning properties as potential flips or rehab and holds- Developed checklists and standard operating procedures for various tasks within the business- Developed a strong network of contractors, property managers, real estate agents, inspectors, wholesalers, conventional lenders, and private and hard money lenders from the ground up- Mentor other aspiring investors and manage a monthly mastermind group for professional development

• Investigated SpaceX parts with issues dispositioned as use as is and caused by the vendor. Worked with supplier quality team to resolve problems on the vendor side or with engineering and design teams to change drawings (opening up tolerances, fixing errors, etc.) to prevent reoccurrence. 68 issues (14% of targeted issues) were solved through this effort, reducing time spent by teams to appropriated pass the issues through the issue system.• Investigated receiving and precision inspection escapes, non-conforming parts that made it through inspection even though the non-conformances should have been found. Determined root cause of all issues marked as receiving and precision inspection escapes in 2014 and assigned permanent fixes to teams at fault.• Worked with Air Force contractors to provide supplier certifications and documentation in preparation for EELV audit. This was done to help secure an air force contract with SpaceX.• Assisted Materials Review Board with processing of non-conforming avionics parts when their was nobody to fill this position. Ensured that parts continued to move through the issues review process and got sent to the appropriate locations after being closed out.• Audited suppliers with supplier quality team. Wrote supplier corrective action reports when necessary.

Liquid Bead Research:-Designed and built a structure for researching bead formation on liquids cooled on a single filament wire.-Created and performed test operations to ensure system was working properly.-Finalizing design to have project running before the end of the year.Heat Transfer Enhancement of Swirl Flow:-Assisted in building fluid heater system by welding thermocouples and connecting outputs to data acquisition circuits.-Assist in running tests with varying input powers, pump pressure, pre-heater, and primary flow.-Collect raw data from LabView for each run.-Created an Excel template to analyze data and calculate values such as Reynolds number, heat transfer coefficient, and heat flux.-Researched and applied equations and theorems to analyze heat transfer data and determine if tangential injection is a viable enhancement to heat transfer.-Compared heat transfer gain versus extra pumping power for system to determine effectiveness of the system.-Repaired heat exchangers and piping.
