Technical Lead, Amazon Prime Video Catalog TeamI work with a team of world class engineers and operators to curate the world's richest digital video catalog. Our team is responsible for managing and processing global distribution rights for all Prime Video content worldwide. We design and execute at Amazon scale by creating highly scalable systems that can ingest content rights from hundreds of studios across millions of titles. We strive for 100% automation and thoughtful end to end operator experiences in order to scale to the business needs. I am currently leading the technical designs for the next generation global rights management service which is being developed in Java and leverages many AWS technologies (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Lambda, etc).

• Designed and developed firmware for the Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) and cryptographic erase features on ARM Cortex-R5 and M3 based processors and µC/OS-II Real-Time Operating System• Matured SED features across 140+ functional tests across multiple drive programs• Created design documents, defining requirements and test methodologies for internal and customer features• Resolved and triaged issues using Arium JTAG Emulators for firmware level debugging and trace

• Developed critical utility functions for the translation of non-linear logical block addressing schemes• Optimized memory footprint and ported firmware for new cost-reduced SoCs• Resolved 64-bit logical block addressing (LBA) integration issues across code base

• Developed and maintained a Java-based firmware validation test suite for enterprise SAS hard disk drives • Drove reduction of test failures by over 60% for firmware download and S.M.A.R.T drive features • Accomplished a 24-hour reduction in drive reprocessing turnaround through the implementation of a dynamic Java-based utility capable of interfacing with existing factory systems
