Excelled the role of Site/Project Engineer at the North Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club Project for 2.5 years. It is the D&C project and I had been actively working in various roles from design coordination, design developing, CC preparation and submission, subcontractor coordination, to program writing, RFI managing, client meeting and relationship, variation, credit preparation and submission, PCG ( Project Control Group ) report, PMR ( Project Management Report ) preparation and meetings. I am also helping CAs by taking ownership of some trade packages preparation and letting them till signing the contracts and handing over to the site team.

Working with estimating team, bidding team and managing the tenders under supervision of the Bid Manager.Once I have been handed over the tender, I sit down with bid coordinator and set up and allocate the required schedules to the estimating team. I actively participate in tendering process by contributing writing the methodology and program. I also act as RFI manager between the team and the client. I set up the required internal meetings throughout the tender so that no one is left behind and all required schedules are complete on time. The valuable experience and the skills that I learnt from working in the pre construction team is that I am getting familiar with different types of contracts, the information within the contracts, how the tender/project is priced, how post tender clarifications been captured in the contract, how value engineering ideas/solutions been developed to profit for the project cost-wise and program-wise and finally the skill of managing the team and making sure the required tasks are complete at its best quality as possible to win the jobs.
