I joined The Carithers Pediatric Group in July 2019. Originally from Currituck, NC, I moved to Jacksonville, FL to complete my pediatric residency training. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I met my wife, Amanda. I earned my medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean, where I graduated with Honors. Early on I found a passion for advocating for the rights of children; in hopes that all children could reach their full potential, and lead happy and healthy lives. I was Chief Resident at the University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville, where I completed my residency and was chosen Resident of the Year by the Northeast Florida Pediatric Society in my final year. I now live in St. Johns County where my wife and I enjoy spending time on the water with our two children, Kirra and Xavier, and our dog, Beau.
