As an EMT I take on many roles throughout the day. My primary rolls consist of quickly responding to emergency medical scenes, and definitively asses community member experiencing acute medical problems. Preparation is the keystone of emergency management. This is successfully done by regularly training myself and my crew, having excellent organization, maintaining equipment readiness, and understanding current SOP's. I understand that team cohesion must be maintained at all times, so I work hard to get to know all of my team members personally and develop team building exercises to encourage the team to do the same. This allows me to see all of my team members strengths and weaknesses, which aids me in molding future training, and team building exercises which better prepares my team and myself to better serve our community. As an EMT I am responsible for the following:• Managing an Emergency scene, while working with multiple crews• Act as a quality control manager for myself and my crew• Providing Emergency Medical field training to first responders and the public (including emergency and non-emergency driving, basic life support, CPR, CCR, and other first responder related skills)• Provide basic life support as defined by the Department of Health Services• Maintain equipment, and supplies on the ambulance, and station• Provide safe and secure transportation as defined by the Arizona Department of Transportation• Council and help develop the skills of peers, and new employees• Create a rapid treatment plan for critical patients to be carried out by crew

As a data and systems analyst I was responsible for the following:• Maintain aircraft maintenance log books• Maintain aircraft maintenance computer network• Design and setup mobile electronic maintenance network• Screen and audit maintenance action forms• Design monthly, quarterly, annual, and acute need maintenance trend analysis• Create technical reports about trends as needed• Present all analysis in a formal presentation to maintenance command • Create, and administer individualized training for Marines requiring remediation• Design and carryout ongoing training as designated by the Marine Corps• Create procedures and protocols for administrative quality assurance

As an AGO I worked as a part of a four person crew that maintained in-flight security for CH-46 helicopters, and its passengers. My main role was to provide aircraft security with a .50 cal machine gun and scan the external flight path for potential risks, and hazards. Additionally, I aided the crew in any in-flight mechanical malfunctions.
