Received Inbound calls with the intention to turn every query into a reservation. No call is ever the same. The call center is part of Head Office and calls vary from those mentioned above to handling breakdowns, modify and cancel reservations, claim calls (these calls come when car is returned, and an accident occurred during the rental period), and lastly complaints.

This position was a Casual role, started out full time hours but dropped right back coming into the cooler season.

Served morning/ afternoon tea, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner depending on shift. Ensured everyone was offered a choice and served their selection in timely but presentable manner. This also included special dietary requirements for those on soft or thickened diets. It was crucial they receive the correct requirements for their safety to avoid choking. All food had to be at the correct temperature before serving and kitchen cleared and washed to safety standards. Maintaining stock at all times was essential for the flow of shift not just of your shift but colleague on next shift. Being respectful at all times no matter what situation arises is imperative.

This role involves receiving calls to determine what customers needs are. I have enjoyed the opportunity to go above and beyond wherever possible for clients and stakeholders.All calls are different, and require creativity to best assist the inquiry in the most efficient way possible.

I studied Travel Management upon completion in July 2014 gained a Diploma in Tourism. I worked in the travel industry as a sales consultant for a car rental group. Prior to and during single parenting four children I gained Retail experience ( KPI targets were not required) in clothes stores for New Zealand iconic brands. Expozay International, RPM- surf, street and skate brand to name a few.
