I retired in October 2021 after 41 fulfilling & enjoyable years with Linesight and am now practicing as an independent construction consultant. As well as providing strategic advice on a number of large scale construction projects I serve as a non-executive director with RKD Architects & have recently been privileged to be appointed as a trustee with The Iveagh Trust.Throughout my career I have met & worked with many talented staff members, industry colleagues & clients & have made some long lasting friendships for which I am very grateful. I am pleased to see that Linesight continues to grow & prosper and to provide the same professional, timely & personal advice to clients for which the firm is rightly known.During my career, I have worked as a Chartered Cost Manager and Chartered Project Manager, with a particular focus on high-tech, data centers, life sciences & major commercial projects. I have overseen a number of high profile developments for large multinational clients, including HP, Diageo, Xerox and hyper-scale data centre providers. As a result of my work on both a national and international basis, I have a comprehensive understanding of best practices in construction, particularly in EMEA and the US. Value engineering, procurement advice, program management and risk analysis are my major specialist areas. I believe that pro-active teamwork and collaboration is absolutely key to the success of any construction project.I place great emphasis on professional development, and I am an active member of a number of industry organizations. I am a past President of the SCSI, and past Chairman of the Construction Industry Council. I am also past Chairman of the SCSI QS and PM Professional Groups.
