I am an undergraduate computer science student at the University of Jaffna. For my degree course module, I have to gain Industrial training as a part of my degree.,We are the first batch who has the opportunity to get industrial exposure before completing the degree programme. And I got a placement at Arima Technologies (part of Vetri Holdings) for a training from career fair which is conducted by our department. On 1st November 2017 I started off as an Intern at Arima/Vetri Technologies. I joined a new Team, which became like a family to me soon. I got an insight of basic and fundamental Industry knowledge that would help me with my career. I was positively impressed as I experienced all the modern facility exposure in here.I gained personal experience as for how to manage an organization and a successful team. I realized we can achieve it with your own organization in your hometown and be role model for others. Arima/Vetri have achieved it successfully. My participation at Arogya workshop for the one hospital management was a valuable experience during my Internship. I was happy to see how our system satisfies out the customer in living.By doing my Internship at Arima/Vetri has helped me significantly to gather valuable knowledge from different skilled people who work here and get guidance from them. My biggest takeaway would be the new long-term relationships and connections which I had forged with my colleagues.Finally, I want to say proudly if you want to get a great industrial training experience you can also come to Arima Technologies and experience the difference.
