I am an ACCA-qualified accountant from the UK with over 18 years of working experience in various types of companies including PLCs, PE-backed, small and medium size companies. The majority of my roles have involved looking after an international portfolio of companies. I am currently a head of finance (commercial finance lead) in the real estate division of CBRE with specific responsibility for the Honeywell EMEA account and have accounting responsibility for over 150 sites and a budget of c$80m. My role involves being the primary finance contact for Honeywell’s divisional Facility Directors. I ensure that there is both effective financial control over facilities spending and that the numerous progressive changes to the contract are effectively implemented. My key experience includes the preparation of budgets and forecasts, consolidating multi-currency group financial and management accounts, variance analysis, cash management, tax compliance (Corporation Tax, Withholding Tax, VAT, PAYE) and ad-hoc reports. I enjoy working in a team, but I am also comfortable working on my own when required and can demonstrate a track record of self-initiative, a hard-working approach, the ability to learn quickly and a drive to achieve.
