Provided start-to-finish management of fatigue & fracture testing projects primarily servicing the aerospace and defense sector in product development, material characterization, lot-production testing and failure response.• Responsible for providing engineering support and management throughout projects.• Engineering support included: test-plan development with M&P teams, forging cut-up plans, test specimen selection and design, machine shop instructions and inspection sheets, test fixture design, test methodology development, post-test analyses, test result validation and issuing final reports.• Management included: quotations, developing project Gantt charts, leading project launch meetings, directing work flow and streamlining project bottlenecks, coordinating sub-contracts, liaising with clients on project statuses and technical issues, issuing bi-weekly project invoices and internal financial forecasts. • Contributed to quality assurance team by performing internal auditing of test procedures, revising standard operating procedures, evaluating ASTM standard updates for potential SOP revisions, assessing round-robin test results and assisting in NADCAP, ISO 17025, and customer approval audit preparation.Notable Achievements: • Developed internal process for routine titanium blisk-ring production testing that involved international collaboration between Exova Mississauga and Exova Plzen to deliver streamlined turn-around. • Further developed fatigue crack growth feature-based testing capabilities by successfully completing two simultaneous projects on critical crack detection in compressor rotor dovetail and spline features to determine product fatigue life. • Oversaw completion of an extensive pipeline certification project according to CSA Z245.1 and API 5L specifications.
