As a Campus Security Officer at Puyallup School District, I am responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors on school grounds. I work with a team of dedicated professionals who patrol the campus, monitor the access control system, respond to emergencies, and enforce school policies and regulations. I have been in this role for over two years, and I enjoy the challenge and variety of tasks that I encounter every day.I am also a recent graduate from Excelsior College, where I earned a Master of Science in Cybersecurity with an Information Assurance concentration. I have a passion for learning and applying new technologies and skills to protect and enhance the digital environment. I am currently studying for the CompTIA Security+ exam to gain a deeper understanding of topics not covered in my degree program. I am eager to make a career change into the field of Information Security, where I can leverage my cybersecurity knowledge, security experience, and transferable skills to contribute to the success of a dynamic and innovative organization.
