Reporting to General Counsel and Chief Human Resources Officer, I actively administer various human resource activities; assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures and recommending new approaches to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the human capital and services provided.

As the President and Executive Officer of the Corporation, I preside over all meetings, leading the organization to fullfill their mission and goals. Performing other executive functions as required, signing checks and serving as a representative of the Corporation at meetings of other organizations, acting as organization spokesperson for all press releases and other media communication, and will assume the Office of Immediate Past President upon the expiration of term.Prior to holding the Presidency position, contributed to the Board in every position available at one time or another: Past President, President-elect, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations and Program/Legal Co-chairperson.

Designing and leading Human Resources practices and objectives that provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture emphazing empowerment, quality, productivity and standards in alignment with company goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.Developed the implementation of services, ATS and HRIS systems, as well as project lead for three new websites, designing policies, and enhancing company wide programs. Reporting directly to the President, active participant on the management team; educating, coaching and advising company leaders about Human Resources issues and concerns.

Collaborated with management and employees to discuss work related issues and policy interpretation while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. Conducted investigations regarding allegations of discrimination; worked closely with staff to resolve problems and recommend appropriate action. Served as primary contact and partner on all aspects of HR issues, policy administration; facilitated enhancements to work environment resulting in performance improvement. Coordinated programs and policies related to recruitment, selection and retention, compensation, benefits, organizational development and employee relations.

Recruitment coordinator managing the hiring of all professional licensed staff within the hospital including nurses, allied health, PT/OT/SPL, and pharmacy. Within one year saved the hospital over 100K in foreign recruitment fees.

Working in collaboration with the nursing division, managed the recruitment activity for the nursing division within the hospital which resulted in reducing the nursing vacancy rate to 1%.
