The finite element codes were developed in MATLAB® environment. •The analytical models were successfully validated through series of experiments which were conducted on the sandwiched beams and plates in different configurations using Electrodynamic Vibration Shakers with random and Sine sweep functions and Frequency Response Function (FRF’s) were compared with analytical models •Developed analytical models are now being used to validate more complex systems and are avoiding huge validation costs Show less
