ROLLS & RESPONSIBILITIES-Product design and Drafting on Catia V5-ECN Generation-Controlling of in house and Customer Drawing-New Product Development Verification-Design verification-Communication with Customer for specific requirements.-Assisting Products related Documents e.g.APQP,Design FMEA etc.-Prepare BOM for new proposals against RFQ and estimate their weights with the help of drawings and CAD data.PROJECT UNDER TAKEN-Successfully working for Altroz MCE Ambient lighting project.-Successfully modified the Current Altroz Tail lamp and Roof lamp designs and drawings.-Successfully modified the design and drawing of MG Hector Roof lamp.-DFMEA,TRSO,DFA for all Projects.Working as a Product Design Engineer.I am responsible for concept design to final design of Automotive lighting products.PROJECT HANDLED-Altroz MCE Ambient Lighting, Altroz Tail lamp, Altroz Roof lamp, MG Hector Roof lampRESPONSIBILITIES--To design Automotive Lighting Products from given A-Surface to complete functional Lamps with required feasibility studies.-Designing lamp with ECE & AIS requirements like Geometric Visibility, Installation requirements, Photometric requirements etc.-Sealing feasibility for lamp considering Hot melt, PUR, Hot plate welding, Vibration, Ultrasonic welding between Lens & Housing.-Design of locaters anf fixing as per 3-2-1 principle. Addressing issues for the fitment & assembly sequence.-Tooling feasibility for lamp parts like Lens, Bezel, Reflector considering Mold flow analysis, Parting line, Slider & Lifter movements, ejector pin, gate location etc.-Design lamp with considering Thermal, Vibration, photometric simulation & DVP requirements.-Prepration of documents like BOM, DFA, DFM, DFMEA. Also need to release Assembly drawing, part drawing for inspection.-To support our Quality team, PE team, Tooling team for product design related problems till final product launch.
