I am a graphic designer with over 13 years of experience in the field of visual communication having worked with clients from diverse businesses and organisations. As an associate lecturer at University of the Arts London, I teach and mentor students on the Graphic Media and Design course, sharing my knowledge and skills in typography, information design, and publication design. Additionally, I am a co-founder and creative director at Studio Anugraha, a communication design practice that works on branding, illustration, information design, publication design, and other design projects for diverse clients, ranging from NGOs and social enterprises to corporates and cultural institutions. Being a design educator for over 8 years now, I have served as visiting faculty at the National Institute of Design, where I have contributed to the pedagogy of the design discipline and collaborated with other faculty members. The opportunity to anchor and curate the design and documentation of the Kumbh Mela's in India (amongst one of the largest human gathering's on Earth) with a team of over 60 individuals has been an invaluable learning experience that has contributed to my design trajectory in many ways culminating into 8 published volumes and 2 documentaries published by Studio Anugraha. I have served on the D&AD and ADC One Club for Creativity Jury Panels in the field of Book Design.I am proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, and have multiple certifications in unconscious bias, design thinking, photography and visual storytelling. I am driven by the mission of using design as a tool for social change, empowerment, and inclusion, and I seek to bring my expertise, creativity, and vision to the next level of excellence.Aside of my interest in research, writing and design, I enjoy exploring various philosophies and expressing them through installations which have been exhibited in the UK and in India across various galleries and festivals. I have had the opportunity to co-curate The Story of Light festival (2015) (http://www.thestoryoflight.org/) and the co-direct The Story of Space festival (2017) in Goa.
