As young as I am I’m not getting any younger, so I figure it’s time for me to get this thing called life figured out. I’ve had 4 jobs in my brief 6 years of working and it has been very bittersweet to say the least. Bittersweet because nobody loves to get up early for work every morning, but on the other hand, paychecks are always the best incentive in my book. Me being so young without a college degree may be the single most difficult thing I’ve had to deal with since becoming an adult. A lot of jobs that interest me prefer college graduates, and my resume doesn’t stick out. This is the sole reason for me making a linkedin account. I am currently lucky enough to not have any kids at the moment, but when I do I want my job to be secure and stable, so that if I do have to find different work it won’t be hard because of my experience and job history. I know there’s companies that give people like me a chance, every kid can’t attend and graduate college, I know a handful of people with no degree, but can’t get into a certain position because of their education coursework, I want to hurdle this obstacle and show how persistent and resilient I am.
