Member of a DevOps team for a Financial Crimes Technology project & involved in the following activities:- Platform upgrades for vendor products such as Accuity Actone- DB migrations such as DB2 to MSSQL.- Deployments & Change management for the changes that are based on the CICD model.- Shell scripting for automations. About the Application/Project:Bunch of applications that provides the technology to monitor all the client activity,screening of all the payments,transactions against OFAC lists and other major global lists in order to protect the firm from financial crimes activity,Anti-Money Laundering & to detect & prevent fraud related activities by raising the alerts for the Compliance teams, also onboarding of all the firmwide clients by providing enterprise client risk ranking for "Know Your Customer(KYC)".Prior Projects I worked on:- Surveillance models/scenarios are based on different business required defined rules. Alerts that are generated out of the surveillance scenarios are made available in a vendor product called Actimize for users to review & take any action on those alerts. - Provided production environment technology support for all the applications in terms of stability & reliability in the form of incident & problem management & fix tracking through jiras. - Sourcing of data involves technologies such as Hadoop, perl & shell scripting. Infrastructure level handling involves unix server, databases such as DB2, Sybase.

Technologies involved: Unix,Databases-Sybase & Oracle.-Working as a 1st & 2nd Level Technical Support for a Global Trading application which enables clients to trade Listed Derivatives-Futures,FuturesOptions,FX,Bonds, across all exchanges.-Handle front-end & back-end technological support for the above application trough emails,chats & hotline calls.-Provide technological support for Middle Office application which is responsible for all the cient & exchange allocations sent to Clearvision.

Technology: UNIX, FIX & exchange specific protocols.(i) Performing Ready-for-Business checks prior to the opening of markets for the EU region. This involves: (ii) Connection check at application level for each exchange/broker at their scheduled time.(iii) Verification of feeding in of Market & Static data in all set of applications mentioned above.(iv) Sending end-to-end automated test orders to the exchanges/brokers to ensure order flow is working fine.(v) Project Work: Setting up new exchanges for new clients for NXT-Connect/NXT-LM/NXT-Dropcopy which involves contacting exchanges/brokers for connectivity related details such as IP addresses, port nos. to be used & setting up network level connectivity done by Firewall team. Configuring & deploying the application on the host in the Staging/testing/UAT environment. (vi) Issue Management: (i) A common issue such as exchange or broker session not connected involves initial investigation such as doing a telnet test to the IP address & port combination, if the test is failing at networks level, involve network support team. If issue is on the exchange side, contact exchange with the necessary details such as CompIDs/Login names, IP addresses & port nos. Fixing issues by reset/synchronizing sequence numbers with exchange/broker. Once issue is resolved, check if session is heart beating.(ii) If users complain orders not reaching exchange/broker, then check if order has reached in our application & then check if order is rejected at/stuck at application level, fix the issue if possible at application level else if no acknowledgement is received from exchange/broker, raise it to the exchange/broker.(iii) Have knowledge & worked for all of the European Equities Exchanges as part of my job role(iv) Incident Management(v) Change/release Management(vi) Scripting & automation(vii) Monitoring/Setup alerts(viii) Job Scheduling: Autosys Setup
