NOVA Holdings Co., Ltd. is a general holdings company focused on education, and consisting of major player subsidiaries in their respective fields. As a manager in the Contents Division, I work as the lead creative/designer for all digital and traditional educational materials, and multi-language core education services. I am a hands-on lead graphic designer and have a passion for problem solving and communication.

State design was a creative design company based in Shoreditch and founded by close friends with similar approaches. I had the oppotunity to work on a large range of high profile client projects such as Sony Playstation, book publishers Laurence King, the digital film festival onedotzero, and high street food retailers Soup & Salad, along with a number of other clients. My main client was a start-up content management systems company, for which I provided everything from custom exhibition panels and marketing materials, to company branding and advertising.

Worked evening and night shifts at The Guardian Newspaper in the advertising production department on a part-time basis.

Lead graphic designer brought in to create and launch a new Sunday supplement entertainment magazine that accompanied a weekly national newspaper. Working closely with the editorial team I designed the layout for the whole magazine each week, including advertising layout, colour correction of fashion shoots, and design of special editorials. I also provided layout services for other newspaper titles within the group.

I spent 6 months after graduating from my degree course as an intern for the graphics department of RTE Television Studios, the Irish national broadcaster. I assisted designers in the creation of props for major Irish television shows, produced on-screen graphics, attended editorial and creative meetings, and spent my free time on-set watching and assisting tv show productions.
