Hi! Nice to see you here on my profile, thanks for taking an interest. Hopefully this little intro and my career journey so far will give you a bit of an insight into who and what I'm all about.I'll start off with the basics: I'm what I would call a full stack designer, so as well as designing all the stuff you'd expect a graphic designer to be able to design, such as brands/logos, stationery, adverts, posters, brochures, etc. I'm also pretty nifty at copywriting, art direction, exhibition, web/UI and event design. I put this down to my passion for 'customer experience' which I discovered way back when in my first ever weekend job as a teenager. Oh, and my excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts at the same time. Truth be told, I thrive off delivering and making things better. I still love the buzz I get when looking at the finished article and being able to say ‘I did (or helped to do) that’ and knowing it will make a difference to the client and target audience.Talking of making a difference, I love design for the potential it has to empower, change, influence and inspire. Going back a few years, the Sony Bravia adverts, throwing tonnes of bouncy balls down a hill in San Francisco. Such a simple idea but damn was it brilliant! And Channel 4's ever-evolving identity, creative genius and a true reflection of the brand's essence. That's also how I like to design, in a clean, simple and structured way, and craft my work with pride, precision and integrity (very important). You could say that's my trademark. I'm also an effective problem solver who considers the bigger picture and can challenge the status quo to do things better (that theme again), innovate and inspire (ooh, another repeating theme). But we all know the proof is in the pudding, so that's enough from me and happy exploring below!
