Khadijah is the heart and hands behind her brand that is fittingly named after her, Designs By Dij. Khadijah is an artist and designer and specializes in uplifting, empowering, and celebrating black hair, black women, and black culture. Khadijah has always had a love and admiration for all art forms, and she's always had an eye for detail and design; but it wasn't until she was forced to put down the mic for a few months due to overworked vocals, that she really started honing her talent in the fields of art & design. Khadijah enjoys all things artistic and her talents spans into music and poetry, as well. Khadijah's work is focused in creating art to empower the natural hair community and her art reflects this passion. Her creations often feature illustrations that evokes natural hair liberation and self-love in those who encounter them. Khadijah has worked with non-profit organizations that focuses on cultivating and uplifting black girls. Khadijah has also been featured in many publications, including being listed in BuzzFeed's gift guide as creating products that are "must-haves". You may have also seen her work in publications such as Black Girl Nerds, Jennifer Maker, and more and she was awarded as one of the Top 50 Black Women In Business in MS, by the Black Women's Business Expo in 2020.
