About Desi Hosack
I am a Fashion Business Management graduate from the University of Alberta. I have a significant interest in the fashion industry including the marketing, buying, selling, strategic planning and management processes related to the fashion business. Specifically, I am interested in product development and operations. In addition to the various business courses in economics, accounting and marketing, I have completed many design, fashion industry, fashion history, sustainability and textile science classes to understand the ethical processes involved in textile clothing design, production, distribution and consumption. I know I want to work in the fashion industry because I am inspired by how insight into both communication and creativity derive financial and corporate value to an organization, as well as add to the consumer experience by incorporating the newest trends into their personal dress.
