Greetings! I am Desiree Carter, a Social Work scholar from Chicago, Illinois. I am a current student at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. I have been ambitious and dedicated to helping and serving people since I was 11 years old. Over time I have also accumulated 800+ volunteer hours in my church, clubs such as Student Government, and organizations such as the National Honors Society. Throughout my teen years, I have always made it a priority to put my best foot forward to display my skills and knowledge. I strive to use my Bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work to make change and assist our youth in being the best version of themselves. I hope to make connections and work with different organizations and businesses to not only grow my knowledge and experience in the work world but to expose myself to great talents and opportunities to be a better person and make this world a better place.
