MTA Access-A-Ride service. Assisting passengers in locating their vehicles, making reservations or cancelation of trips.

In my 30 years as a Verizon employee I had the opportunity to advance to several different technical positions. First was a Maintenance Administrator in repair service. This position required testing with central office technicians on the frame, switch, carrier, Rcmac and testing with repair technicians in the field. Along with identifying cable failures and at times dispatching repair technicians. The next title and position I held was TTA (telecommunications technical associate) which was provisioning trunks, meaning turning up new trunks for companies to acquire for phone lines or internet access. Also maintenance of these trunk lines if service went out. The last position I held before retiring from Verizon was provisioning T1's and the maintenance of the T1's. Verizon afforded plenty of training in customer service and new technology.
