About Desiree Narango

I study how plants and animals interact with each other, their environment, and with us. Most of my work takes place in novel landscapes significantly altered by people, such as urban forests, residential yards, and farmland. My interdisciplinary work uses field, lab, and modeling-based approaches to answer questions that span across scales and taxa.
