Member services & event planning: Managed all aspects of HFIA membership services, member recruitment and retention efforts, and member communications. Developed weekly newsletters and helped manage social media marketing. Responsible for the planning/execution of all HFIAannual and monthly membership networking events in partnership with board chairs assigned to oversee the success of events, including monthly membership & board meeting luncheons, the Annual Convention, Annual Golf Tournament and Annual Social New Years Banquet. Manage CRM database and ensured accurate updated records.Bookkeeping/Financial Operations: Responsible for maintaining company financial records for $1 million + annual budget, processed all aspects of accounts receivable/payable using QuickBooks Online. Provided bank reconciliation and P&L reports to Executive Director on monthly basis. Maintained operating budgets for all classes, including general operations, membership dues, and all events, including the Made in Hawaii Festival which hosts up to 400 vendors and 50,000 visitors annually. Implemented improvements changes regarding key processes for internal controls andaccounting procedures.In-house Graphic Artist and web content manager: Designed and disseminated all print, web and social media promotional material, including event fliers, save-the-dates, weekly digital newsletters and an86 page printed annual membership directory. Maintained and updated website graphic and informational content; responsible for writing all website copy.
