I am the founder and CEO of a Tirol-based travel social media start-up called wependio. Born out of a simple problem of spending too much time searching for unique and authentic travel destinations and hotspots, my co-founder Daniel and I started wependio in 2022 with the aim of providing travelers with the right recommendations for their journeys through our community.As a single mother and full-time worker, building a start-up was not easy, but wependio was our absolute passion from day one and we were obsessed with the idea of making it THE travel social media.We started working together with our laptops in my living room, but now we have our own office and can fully concentrate on the further development of wependio.We don't want to reinvent the wheel or follow the next trend.
