During my time as occupational therapy assistant I have grown as an individual in my field in the SNF setting and a summer of children's therapy camp. I have learned to engage people on a different level to aide them in furthering their independence post surgery or incident. I have also learned to aide individuals in ADL's and IADL's with adaptations to increase their independence. I would love to continue this journey and further educate myself in this field.
