Voted onto the board via special election in 2016. Appointed in 2015 after volunteering as an Associate Member since 2014.Salt Lake Conservation District (CD) encompasses all of Salt Lake County. The CD works to promote and achieve conservation and sustainability of Utah’s natural resources by bringing government and local agencies together with private interests to foster solutions and to provide financial and educational assistance to landowners and land users.

Conducted initial site visits for residential Water Smart Landscapes Rebate program. Explained the program to them, took measurements and provided guidance and next steps. Analyzed water use data to determine effectiveness of water waste enforcement strategy as part of my graduate project.

Responsible for schedules of all Salt Lake water checkers.Managed the “Slow the Flow” hotline by answering the publics’ water conservation questions and concerns.

Managed company’s grant giving program.Maintained and developed educational materials.Coordinated and facilitated volunteer events.Conducted elementary school visits, discussed environmental topics and lead students in supporting activities.
