CurrentCreate content and marketing plans for company’s large portfolio of websites and a variety of client and partner websites.Lead teams of freelance writers and contractors in the development of high quality, marketable, shareable content and other materials.Create weekly editorial calendars and oversee the production and publishing of blog posts, guides, white papers, e-books, feature articles, infographics,and other content initiatives. Help develop, maintain, and supervise social media strategies and initiatives for company portfolio and client websites by creating social media calendars for clients for the purpose of content promotion, direct influencer outreach, brand awareness, social media measurement, and development of social media teams.Train writers, social media contractors, staff, and various freelancers on evolving best practices for developing, optimizing, and promoting digital content.Analyze site content and perform page inventories and/or audits for brand websites, determining what content best meets the business objectives of a website and its users’ expectations and to ensure optimum website performance.Write informational web content, blog posts, and other content as needed for company, clients, and partner websites using appropriate language and tone, including articles, blog posts, white papers, e-books, newsletters, feature articles, Q&As, product descriptions, headlines, summary blurbs, etc. Edit, rewrite, and restructure various content written by contributing writers to improve readability with the aim of engaging intended audiences and encouraging dialogue between audience and the business/website. Communicate with clients on the progress of their websites and serve as project manager in that regard.Work with Digital Analyst to evaluate site performance and identify opportunities for improving content, conversions and user experiences.
