Oversaw PR and marketing efforts for the Arts in Your Neighbouhood (AYN) bi-annual arts festival (2017 – 2021).o Ideation, conceptualisation, and copywriting of online and out-of-home advertisements, programme descriptions, social media content, and key messaging for media pitching efforts.o Worked with PR agencies to coordinate media tours and engagement of media and KOLs.o Worked with media buy agencies to develop comprehensive mix of media buy channels for festival publicity.Evaluated and curated arts programmes for AYN festival, liaising with partners, stakeholders, and artists.Worked with artists and intermediaries during COVID-19 crisis to pivot to a blend of digital and on-site visual arts programmes, including the first digital podcast project in AYN and the first projection mapping programme at a neighbourhood venue, incorporating residents’ input.Overall coordination and project management to produce 30 daily episodes of online arts programming during “circuit breaker” lockdown (From the Living Room online performance series in May/June 2020), creating 115 jobs for artists and production crew.Managed partnerships with Arts & Culture Nodes such as Community Centres, Gardens by the Bay, and Our Tampines Hub to bring regular high-quality arts programmes by established arts groups to community spaces.

United by a shared passion to grow the local music community here in Singapore, The Gig People Singapore (TGP) was formed to address the need for greater awareness of home-grown music gigs and festivals. TGP mainly focuses on promoting locally curated music events and linking new musicians to performance opportunities, with the core aim of generating and cultivating a strong support network for local talent.In mid-2016, we launched our social media pages on Instagram and Twitter (@TheGigPeopleSG), promoting local music gigs and projects by regularly publishing pre-event marketing posters and live on-site gig updates in the form of short videos and snippets. This has received overwhelming support from fans and artists alike, and we have formed connections with local musicians, labels, studios, and event organisers, placing us in a unique position to be able to tap into a wide pool of talent and industry players for a variety of purposes.As our experience and resources grow, we are branching out into organising, curating, and promoting events or other projects that work toward the same goal of bringing the sounds of local music to as many ears as possible.

Planned and implemented fundraising strategy, including segmentation of donors and various ways to reach the different segments.Raised over $480,000 (surpassed targets) for organization via two annual major fundraising gala events.
