Responsibilities included:• Met with clients and other members of the engineering team to determine project requirements.• Calculated concrete structures, such as: Office buildings, control room, pre-dispatch room, power houses, soil treatment pit, piping support, electrical sub-station and dam wall. Foundations for: Pumps, transformers, emergency generators, diesel storage tanks and filter unit.• Calculated metallic structures, i.e. Piping support, support for cable trays and platform for maintenance.• Figured water, sewage, rain water and oily water drainage.• Compute earthwork, road and pavement in order to satisfy Project needs.• Interpreted, reviewed and approved topographic survey and geotechnical/hydrological studies.• Prepared technical specifications for conducting topographic survey and geotechnical/hydrological studies, terms and design criteria, general construction specifications, scope of civil works, measurement and payment and metric calculations.
