I am a recent graduate from Per Scholas's Software Engineering program excited to start a career in software development. I am a coming from a previous career in the medical field as a surgical technician. I made the switch into coding because of how important technology is in the world and our everyday lives. I wanted a chance to build, be creative, and help make more of a positive change in the world. One of the first websites I built was an Astronomy website the NASA API to help children get more involved in STEM. A lot of my skills from my medical career have translated over and proven helpful to coding. I am a dedicated and hardworking individual. I have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills. I am a self starter who works well independently and in a group.
