I worked as a teaching artist and co-taught along with another fellow teaching artist. We developed music curriculum for schools in the Torrance area that had no formal music education programs. We met every week with grades k-6 and worked towards building the fundamentals of music and performance.

I work individually and in small groups with preparing three casts for their musical productions. I develop the curriculum and activities necessary to assist the students in their understanding of character work, voice, and on-stage presence.

I taught the course Mus 1510: Classical Music in Western Culture.My responsibilities included: creating curriculum, grading, lecture, engaging with students. the course included the approach to Western classical music for music and non-music majors at CSULA.

I utilized a complex computerized space reservation system to schedule and coordinate the facilities, equipment, and services of the University Student Union. This included meeting and conference rooms, a theater, recreational facilities, and miscellaneous public areas such as patios, lobbies, and lounges. This position advised each client of the most effective methods of planning and executing successful meetings and events.

I monitor the overall operation of the CSULB University Student Union. My team members and I are in charge of overseeing all of the building activity including events. I maintain the quality of their events, and make sure everything goes smoothly for our clients. In addition, we provide A/V services to clients: such as live sound mixing, setting up projectors and screens for presentations, and doing backstage light work for events held in our theater.

I accompanied and led rehearsals for the Children’s vocal group aged 2-13. I worked alongside the Musical Director of the church to produce a children’s musical and in-service performances.
