• Assist the Executive Director (ED) in interactions with the Board of Commissioners including scheduling meetings, responding to requests for information, and creating reports for the Board. • Assist the ED with a variety of confidential, priority topics including collective bargaining, personnel, budgets and audits, and relations with consultants, attorneys and accountants. • Play a key role in developing and implementing organizational policies including personnel policies. • Play a key role in developing procedures for organizing, archiving, and retaining key BHA documents. • Play a key role in designing and implementing initiatives to use technology to improve the BHA’s effectiveness. • Play a key role in organizing staff trainings. • Write and submit reports as needed to the agency’s funders and regulators including HUD and DHCD.• Play a key role in organizing special events. • Play a key role in planning and implementing office renovations and equipment purchases.
