Hi, I'm Desiree. Welcome to my LinkedIn profile!I am a recent 2023 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Law, Criminal Justice, and Society (LCJS). During my time at Pitt, I was able to participate in the pre-law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta as both a member and Vice President of Recruitment. During this time I was able to increase the number of members inducted into the fraternity. Furthermore, in the summer of my Junior year, I was presented with the opportunity to conduct summer research on fatal gun violence under Dr. Wesley Hiers who is the head of the LCJS department at Pitt. I completed this summer research in conjunction with a summer internship at Wigenton Law Office for the duration of the summer. These experiences have shaped my skills in research, collaboration, attention to detail, and ability to draft legal documents and have deepened my knowledge of the legal industry.My career goals include attending law school and practicing law in the areas of criminal, family, real estate, or corporate law.
