I was deeply involved during the development and consolidation phase (CableTEL) and afterward, during the advisory and consulting services, with regard to M&A (Cable Partners) provided to the new acquirer. I am working on number of large-scale real estate projects in Bulgaria and Serbia (Trinity West). I have researched potential investment opportunities, developed business plans, negotiated deals and liaised external advisers.

During the first stage of the company life cycle, I was able to contribute by setting up the framework for the company operation in Bulgaria. This included identification and development of strategic partnerships; research and planning regarding building a training plot and facilities; setting up the grounds to meet Bulgarian and EU compliance for certifications, licenses and regulations; and participation in the development of a plan to establish a presence in emerging global markets (Eastern Europe, South Africa, Latin America).

Leading the processes of targets identification, deal negotiations, due diligence (legal, financial, HR, technical, operational) performed on acquisition targets. Successfully completed multiple acquisition projects. Management of the integration process of the newly-acquired companies and post-acquisition analysis. Responsible for the major reorganization project of CableTEL group completed in 2009.

Working directly with the CEO, leading the set-up and development of key departments of the company: HRM, H&SC and General Administration (Office Management, Car Fleet, IT, Legal & Documentation, Security & Insurance).CableTEL is a new generation telecommunication operator- market leader in Bulgaria and Macedonia; owns and operates the largest hybrid coaxial-optical cable network in Bulgaria reaching 23 cities. The company was acquired in 2009 by EQT - an European equity fund and merged with Eurocom to form Bulgaria’s largest cable TV operator - Blizoo.

leading software outsourcing company in Bulgaria – WizCom/Sciant, acquired by VMWare (NYSE: VMW) in 2007During the first months of operations of the Sofia office, I joined eight technical enthusiasts as the first nontechnical person in the group. Throughout the next couple of years, our small team grew to one of the biggest and most successful software-outsourcing companies in Eastern Europe. Embracing this high-speed organic growth, I was thrilled about building a working environment supporting high performance, personal comfort at work and strong company identity by:- Creating and developing a human resources unit, focusing on support and training of executives and middle management in best HR practices; designing and implementing several core company processes/systems, including: a fair-compensation system, a performance review system, employee benefits;
- Initiating and leading the process of applying and participating in the Management Training Project supported by Phare (budget: 2 million euro); WizCom was chosen among 150 companies. The program proved to be of great help in the managers’ training and development and for promoting the company as a great place to work; 
 - Leading and monitoring all administrative functions; completed 6 office relocation projects without any work interruption, incl. organizing and observing construction and renovation works in the new buildings; - Representing the company in front of the tax, government and regulatory officials and contractors; managing relations with external consultants.
