I share license-based contracts for high-end furniture producers with Hertel & Klarhoefer design agency. I am deeply involved in the entire design process from the reception of the brief to the delivery of the end product and my responsibilities include concept generation, product development and creation of 3D visualisations and working drawings. I aim to create furniture pieces based on a solid idea that speak the same design language as the clients brand and are well considered up to the last detail. I have worked on projects for the companies Ligne Roset, Müller Möbelwerkstätten, Bolia and Universo Positivo amongst others.

As designer I worked closely with the founder of the Ophardt Group, Hermann Ophardt, and qualified technicians to produce a series of furniture pieces from high quality aluminium, wood and glass. The furniture was custom designed for the showcase office building of Mr. Ophardt’s shipyard. I also acted as the sole In-house design consultant for the 12m Yacht currently in production. Solutions for human factor and aesthetic issues were discussed and refined with the engineering staff through sketching, 3D parametric modelling and rendering.

As Junior Designer for an international hygiene product company I worked with experienced designers and engineers on aluminium sheet metal products. I learnt the possibilities and limitations of various manufacturing processes in a high-production facility while operating as part of a professional team.
