• Responsible for purchasing security products from local and overseas.• Sourcing new suppliers allows the organization to no longer depend on a single supplier, and avoid higher risk related to suppliers or the quality of products.• Arrange for supplier meetings to strengthen relationships with key suppliers, discuss quality and performance improvements, and ensure the alignment of objectives between the organization and the suppliers.• Negotiations for contract extensions and renewals.• Frequent internal meetings with CEO and HOD from the marketing and sales department to learn the current direction of the organization and market trends.• Meeting with the logistics department for the products reordering plan.

- Work on statements of work/ Sub agreements/ call-offs- Strategize and negotiate actively with suppliers and scout for better suppliers.- Reviews with Regional commodity managers to ensure strategies are aligned and pipeline activity is proceeding.- Ensure contracts are fully addressed, in terms of the requirements and commercial terms.- Evaluate sourcing levers for all projects – supply market leverage, supply base restructuring, value-added relationships, design/specification optimisation, total cost management, process effectiveness & compliance. This will need to be applied in conjunction with understanding the cost base, supply markets and business needs/requirements.- Work with Business to confirm risk assessment results match the engagement and ensure appropriate supplier qualification procedures have been completed. Enable appropriate briefing to legal. Award the contracts if all risk management activities have been completed.

• Responsible on purchasing of the laboratory production materials or equipment from local and oversea, in line with specified budget and quality.• Source for new vendors and manage vendors in relation to competitive pricing, quality and services, which based on GMP requirements. • Carry out the evaluation and qualification of suppliers, also an annual assessment of approved suppliers.• Maintain and possess good communication with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and keep optimum raw material stock level for production.• Ensure all purchases meet and confirm to specification requirement in term of quality, reliability, price, delivery which in turn contribute to the overall quality and delivery time of the finished products.• Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals.• Ensure all incoming purchase requisition from manufacturing departments are processed promptly and efficiently.• Verification of vendors billing and checking for on time submission to Finance.• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.• Involve in arranging equipment calibration & PPM for laboratory and select the service provider based on the price and quality.• Arranging the gas supply for production & cleanroom garments management.• Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.• Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.• Review and improve warehousing and inventory control.• Assists in NPRA audit with providing all the required documents or certificates of purchased raw materials and vendor survey.• Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures, and audit requirements.
