I am an active-duty United States Marine Corps with 12 years of combined experience. I am a subject matter expert-in Organizational Level-Powerplants and teach and train entry-level students to become aviation mechanics. I have worked in high-tempo environments throughout my career holding different qualifications, such as Formal School Instructor, Collateral Duty Inspector, Production Controller, and Work Center Supervisor.I am currently working as an instructor located in Cherry Point, North Carolina. As an Instructor, I focus on training students via lectures and hands-on laboratory over 60 days to produce mechanics upon graduation. In this role, I performed evaluations to ensure all instructors improve their teaching skills and maintain their qualifications. Before working as an Instructor, I worked as a Production Controller, which displayed my leadership and initiative skills, which had a tremendous measurable impact on the maintenance department and ultimately the entire company. Throughout this time, I excelled at improving the maintenance efficiency and applying inventive problem-solving skills on manpower and equipment issues. Throughout my time, I’ve been placed in many different billets and excel anywhere I’m planted. With my exceptional operational expertise, charismatic interpersonal skills, and unmatched work ethic, which are testaments to the successes created and the challenges overcame during my career.
