With deep and broad experience across digital, data, technology, cyber and systems development, and process change, I believe that the commercial and governance aspects are equalled only by the need for engagement and culture change.I’ve spent much of my career creating collaborative teams across clients, third parties and our own staff to shape, solution, sell, deliver and operate business solutions whilst managing disparate stakeholder groups, requiring effective challenging and questioning of the status quo. Leading these teams to be successful has required combining strategic thinking with operational efficiency and effective analysis of complex issues. And the occasional failure has driven some humility, reinforcing the need for flexibility and continual learning.Working with a disparate set of blue-chip clients in the UK, Europe, South Africa and the USA has honed my strong negotiation and contract management skills, underpinned by the ability to rapidly assimilate complex information and communicate to distinct audiences to gain engagement and buy-in. It’s also helped me develop an aptitude for nurturing and maintaining relationships in both simple and complex organisational structures.When I’m not working with clients and helping develop our teams, I’m learning to mountain bike (nothing wrong with an e-bike!), doing some light hiking, enjoying the sound of the sea or drinking wine somewhere nice. Whenever I have the opportunity, I love helping future business leaders and young professionals develop the confidence to make a difference.
