Recruit Patients for the Partners Healthcare Biobank in the Department of Neurology

•Collaborated with five other women to appoint executive board and additional leadership positions •Evaluated a variety of strengths and weaknesses across candidates’ experiences, leadership and soft skills, and visions for the role

•Collaborated with 31 senate members to approve student groups, cultivate academic affairs, expand student services, fund the student activities commission, and increase sustainability on the campus of 5,000 students•Managed a $21,000 budget and six student leaders over the course of an academic year to serve a class of 1,240 students

•Oversaw 20 students in the laboratory for a weekly 4-hour experiment and helped them master concepts and solve problems by teaching, answering questions and leading review sessions•Assisted professor and other teaching assistants in improving the quality of the course and its curriculum

•Interviewed stroke survivors enrolled in the Genetic Risks for Medication-Related Hemorrhagic Stroke (GOCHA) longitudinal study to assess their cognitive status•Reviewed CT scans of hemorrhagic stroke patients in order to calculate the volume of the bleed in the brain•Prepared a chart review for an investigation of Vascular Dementia (VD) propelled by Cerebral Small Vessel Disease (CVSD) in order to identify risk factors and possible prevention

•Assisted low-income families and individuals by pairing them with private and government-funded health care•Supported Case Managers as they partner with clients to evaluate health needs such as STI testing, prescriptions glasses, medications and forms of identification

•Prepared a study to prove the success of intra-operative MRI-assisted procedures in order to expand the implementation of this method to other hospitals•Analyzed surgical and medical histories of 300 glioma patients and benchmarked statistics against survival rates

•Facilitated group learning among 10 students to solve Calculus II problems and understand concepts

•Represented Laredo, Texas as Miss Laredo Teen USA at Miss Texas Teen USA pageant•Attended and organized charity events and spoke motivationally at schools
