Destiny Edwards is a full-time mom and homemaker living in Charlotte NC after nearly a decade on Capitol Hill. She is the Charlotte Chapter Administrator for Legatus, an international professional organization which empowers Catholics business owners and CEOs. Destiny also serves as the Secretary of her Homeowners Association Board.In 2017, Destiny left the professional world of Washington DC as the Communications Director for a Senior Member of Congress and Subcommittee Chairman. Prior to taking over communications, she served as the Congressman’s Scheduler and Office Manager where she planned the daily calendar, implemented special projects on behalf of the Congressman, and directed the Congressional Internship Program for the 8th District of Arizona.Before her transition to Congress, Destiny investigated the National Institutes of Health research grants, grant awarding process, and funding streams on behalf of a Capitol Hill lobbying firm. Destiny has also held positions in sales and retail management, research and analysis, as well as early childhood development. Destiny holds a B.A. in Political Science and Government from Queens University of Charlotte.
