I have worked in the legal field for over 10 years. I moved to Toledo to accept a position at the local rape crisis center, helping victims navigate the legal system and improving the relationships between the RCC and the local college campus sexual assault programs. I also assisted student victims with Title IX accommodations and attended Title IX and/or disciplinary hearings to advocate on their behalf. I started law school part-time, while continuing my work with the RCC. In my second year of law school I took a position as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Timothy C. Kuhlman. Before graduating, I moved into the private sphere and began working at a law firm where I was tasked with creating and directing their Family Law Program. I was the Director of that Family Law Program for 2 years before making the decision to leave. I am currently studying for the February Bar Exam and intend to remain in the private sphere upon receiving a passing score, where I will continue my journey as a family law and criminal defense attorney.
