Originally from Indianapolis, IN, and now based in New Orleans, LA, I am a Success Coach and M.S. Urban Studies Candidate at the University of New Orleans. My academic background includes a B.A. in Political Science from The Ohio State University, with a specialization in inequality and justice. My diverse experiences in education, community organizing, legislative advocacy, and youth empowerment fuel my commitment to effecting social change. I am deeply passionate about collaboratively reimagining solutions to societal challenges, such as unequal access to opportunities, safety, joy, and well-being for communities on the margins of society.Currently, I am focused on examining the intersection of urban development, social welfare, and children’s rights, with a particular emphasis on environmental justice issues in Cancer Alley, Southeast Louisiana. Through my master’s thesis, I aim to analyze environmental litigation and policies related to the protection of children’s rights.
