• First-Chair counsel at 7-day Jury trial where obtained complete defense verdict for Insurance Agent against $5.6 Million dollar negligent procurement of a health insurance policy claim.
• Trial counsel for multi-day bench trial in Jackson County, Missouri that resulted in a complete win for client home purchaser and required specific performance of contract for sale of property and award of attorney.
• First-chair trial counsel in day-long bench trial in Platte County, Missouri resulting in complete defense verdict for small valet business accused of negligence.
• Served in several seconded roles as in-house counsel with a Fortune 10 company, during which handled hundreds of lawsuits and managed outside counsel in eight states.
• Obtained summary judgment in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas for insurance client on coverage dispute for wind related losses that allegedly totaled more than $1.2 million in damages.

• Responsible for daily case docket of 25-35 litigation files pending in both state and federal Court.
• Second chair at two-week medical malpractice trial in Jackson County, Missouri, resulting in defense verdict on Plaintiff’s claim in excess of $3.4 million.
• Conducted and participated in more than 120 depositions, including personal injury plaintiffs, employment litigants, commercial contractors, and medical experts.
• Drafted responsive pleadings, discovery, motions in limine, and summary judgment motions on a regular basis.
• Responsible for drafting case evaluations, mediation statements, and participate in settlement/ strategy conferences.

• Evaluate cases, review motions, prepare memoranda, and draft proposed letter decisions and written orders for all fifteen (15) district court judges of the Third Judicial District Court.

• Resolved complaints from employees, referring group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints as appropriate, while also overseeing disciplinary measures, such as warnings and reprimands, recommending other.
