Manages the daily function of the Human Resource Department across five location in the CSRA. These functions include hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, employee relations, employee leave, workplace investigations and enforcing company policies.

Managed grant funded activities under Community Block Grant, Continuum of Care and other HUD Community Planning and Development Programs. Ensures grant's Public Agencies are in Federal regulatory compliance with grant funded activities.

Prepared candidates for the interview and educated them on the job responsibilities, salary, and benefits of the job; maintained a 70% qualified candidate pool.Revised the employee development and talent acquisition program through facilitating career coaching workshops, resume writing, and professional development services; increased employee engagement by 65%.

Carried out recruitment activities including job postings, resume review, phone screening, scheduling interviews, communication with candidates, and conducting reference checks. As well as Initiated background checks, I-9 initiation and closing in the E-Verify system and performed random drug testing in compliance with the Tennessee Drug Free Workplace program.

Managed and directed occupational safety compliance, environmental compliance; oversaw workers’ compensation compliance, training and site wellness program.Provided consultation and information regarding worker safety, fire safety, industrial hygiene and environmental protection.Investigated and evaluated root causes for occupational injuries/illnesses, incidents and near misses; maintained and shared relevant data for driving strategic safety program decisions.
